What We Did

– Held a skateboard contest for Calgary skateboarders
– Local Calgary Dentist sponsored the event
– Part of the sponsorship deal was we would share a story with the public about the sponsorship
– We ran Facebook ads to share the story
– The local dentist received 3 new patients from the Facebook ads.

The Results

– $150 of Facebook ads
– 7000 impressions
– 150 clicks
– 3 new patients

For a typical dentist a new patient is worth $600 a year for 6 years
This was a tremendous ROI of 4x on investment

Calgary Association of Skateboarding Enthusiasts (CASE) welcomes generous donation from Ivory Dental on 130th – in the city’s southeast.

“It’s awesome,” says Matt Keay, a board member with CASE, “our group is working through ways to develop programming and bring additional value to the skateboarding community in Calgary.  This seed money will help us with a fundraiser and online skateboard contest we have planned.”

Ivory Dental on 130th is celebrating their one year anniversary this fall and this is a great way to increase presence and let community members know they are accepting new patients.

“We are here to provide Calgarians with a comfortable dental experience and ensure you are receiving honest care,” says Dr. Garett Herget, “we’ll treat you like a member of our family.”

Calgary Association of Skateboarding Enthusiasts is using the funds to ship some skateboarding supplies from China to assist with their fundraising efforts, as well as provide prize money for a local skateboard contest, facilitated entirely online.

“We could have picked any sport to support – with over 35,000 skateboarders in Calgary we might see someone from Calgary on the podium at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo,” says Dr. Herget, “oral health is important, but also youth and parents living a healthy, active lifestyle.”

  1. Copyright: All materials delivered by Producer to the Partner will be owned by the Partner including to but not limited to: photos, videos, social media posts, written, audio content.

Business on Camera is not liable for any copyright issues, locations, or individuals appearing on camera that arise from this partnership.

  1. Schedule: The Producer will film and edit the video and produce first draft in 48 hours.

  2. Drafts and Deliverables: Upon request, The Producer will provide drafts of all deliverables and the Partner may request one rounds of edits following initial draft(s). The Producer will implement any edits requested from the Partner and any additional time to be billed at $50/hour.

  3. Producer and Partner will work collaboratively on throughout process.

  4. Termination: Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days notice to the other party. Any balance on Partner account will be due within 10 days of receipt.

  5. Any additional costs approved prior for example music or special graphic design.

This Service Agreement shall at all times be interpreted pursuant to the laws of Canada.
